What this is
Chart Drill teaches you to read candlestick charts in short, game-like lessons. It was built by one trader who wasted a month on YouTube gurus and wanted a faster way in. It is free and has no signup.
Not financial advice
Everything here is educational. The charts are made up to illustrate ideas, and nothing in the app is a recommendation to buy, sell, or trade anything. Trading involves risk, including losing money. Reading a candle well does not predict what happens next.
Privacy
- No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and no email is collected.
- Progress stays on your device. Completed lessons, scores, and your streak are saved in your browser’s local storage. Clearing site data, or using another browser, starts you over. You can wipe it yourself in Settings.
- Anonymous usage analytics. Only if you allow it on your first visit, the app sends a few events to PostHog: which lesson was started, whether each answer was right or wrong, when a lesson was finished or quit, and whether a result was shared. These are tied to a random id, not to you, and you can switch it off in Settings. No names or emails are collected, because there is nothing to type.
